Your portal holds your enquiries, reports and documents, so it is built to keep them to you and us. Here is how, in plain English.
- No passwords. You sign in with a single use code sent to your email, which expires after 15 minutes.
- Each business can only ever see its own information. The database itself enforces this, not just the screens.
- Two step sign in with an authenticator app is there if you want it. It is always on for our staff.
- You’re signed out automatically after two hours without activity.
- No tracking or advertising cookies and no analytics inside the portal.
- Your portal’s information, including your website enquiries, is stored in London. Some of the services that help run it are based outside the UK. The portal’s privacy notice names every one.
Questions about the portal
Does the portal cost extra?
No. Every Proven Path Strategies client gets the portal as part of working with us, whether we built your website, look after your SEO or both.
Is there an app to download?
No. The portal works in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer. You can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
How do I sign in?
Enter your email address and we send you a single use code, which expires after 15 minutes. There is no password to remember. You can also turn on two step sign in with an authenticator app.
Can my colleagues use it?
Yes. We can give anyone you choose their own sign in. Each person picks which emails and notifications they get.
Who can see my website enquiries?
Only the people at your business with access and Proven Path Strategies. Each business can only ever see its own information. That is enforced by the database itself.
Where is my information stored?
Your portal’s information, including your website enquiries, is stored in London. Some of the services that help run the portal are based outside the UK; the portal’s privacy notice names each one and what it does.
What happens if I stop working with you?
We remove your access and delete your portal’s contents, apart from records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices.
Can I see it before I sign up?
Yes. The live demo is the real portal running on a made-up business. Click anything you like: nothing in it is real and nothing is saved.
